This project is different from the Show Home concept in that it allows the sponsors a real opportunity, to not only display
their product, but to hold informational seminars that will inform a very selective group of interested prospects of the benefits
and features of their product.
Signature Custom Homes has been selected as the builder by The Premier Media Group, the magazine publisher, to
head up the design and manage the entire coordination of this promotion. Signature Custom Homes is an award winning
builder of custom homes and has been a leader in quality and design for 20 years in the Seattle, Tacoma, and Olympia
markets. Their clients, Kathy and Bob Dick have agreed to support the project by providing all of the necessary interior
and exterior amenities to make this home truly special and to insure that their home will live up to the expectations of
everyone involved insuring that the 2008 Idea House will be remembered by all who attend this promotion.
The American Cancer Society has been chosen as the charity for this promotion. Kathy Gendron, who is a local Realtor
and has worked with Signature Custom Homes for years, heads up a local group of volunteers who have raised several
hundred thousand dollars in the past by holding many unique and special events. Her group is made up of some very
influential people in our community which will be very beneficial to the promotion and success of this project.
Pam Sturgill and her American Design Group will be coordinating all of the interior and exterior furnishings and decorating
needs of this project. The last time Pam and Signature teamed up was in the 2003 Pierce County Street of Dreams and
the two companies were awarded an unprecedented 9 out of 12 awards.
